Refund Policy

1. Profile Rejection Refund

If your profile is rejected during the verification process for reasons beyond your control (e.g., a technical issue on our end), you are entitled to a full refund of INR 10,000 within 7 business days of notification.

2. Pre-Verification Withdrawal

If you withdraw your application before the verification process has commenced, you are entitled to a refund of INR 7,500 (INR 2,500 is retained as an administrative processing fee).

3. Post-Verification — No Refund

Once your profile has been verified and activated on the Platform, the membership fee is non-refundable. This is because the verification costs (background check, KYC processing, manual review) are incurred at this stage.

4. Termination for Misconduct — No Refund

If your account is terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service — including providing false information, harassment of other members, or misuse of the Platform — no refund will be issued under any circumstances.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email refunds@maitrimony.com with your registered email address and the reason for your request. We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and process eligible refunds within 7 business days.
